Rubber Decals & Tire (Tyre) Labels — Engineered for Vulcanization

A rubber decal is a specialized marking label designed to bond permanently to rubber surfaces. Unlike standard adhesive labels, rubber decals are engineered to withstand vulcanization — the high-heat, high-pressure curing process used in tire manufacturing. They fuse with the rubber compound to become a permanent part of the finished product, providing durable branding, identification, and traceability throughout the tire's lifecycle.

Our vulcanization-resistant tire labels use specialized rubber-based adhesives and polyester facestocks with protective topcoatings engineered to withstand temperatures exceeding 200°C and extreme pressure during the curing process. The adhesive bonds chemically with the rubber compound during vulcanization, so the label becomes an integral part of the tire — remaining white, readable, and scannable even after curing.

Our pre-cure vulcanization decals are rated to withstand temperatures of 200°C+ during the tire curing process. Post-cure thermal transfer decals are applied at lower temperatures (typically 150°C–180°C) and provide permanent marking on already-cured rubber surfaces. Both solutions maintain print quality, adhesion, and scannability throughout the tire's full lifecycle.

Pre-cure labels (vulcanization decals) are applied to the green (uncured) tire before it enters the curing mold. They bond permanently during vulcanization and become part of the tire. Post-cure labels (thermal transfer decals) are applied to finished, already-vulcanized tires using heat and pressure. Pre-cure is ideal for permanent identification; post-cure is better for variable data, production codes, and applications where labels are applied after the tire leaves the mold.
